I started to play the Steelguitar in 1985. After several years on the "look out for steelguitar" I finally got My hands on a brand new AVM Eagle S-10. It had 6 knee-levers..I only managed to handle 4 of them while I owned it. After 2 or 3 years, a great friend, Steinar Shrøder, sold Me an MSA D-10 with 8+5 pedals. And after That, I bought an Emmons D-10. I used this guitar for 5-6 years..
